    Today Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee Executive Director Jessica Post applauded tonight’s New York legislative special election wins. Democrat Christine Pellegrino flipped Assembly District 9, adding another seat to Democrats’ sizable majority in the chamber and becoming the second red-to-blue pickup of the Trump era. Democrat Brian Benjamin won the special election in Senate District 30, giving Democrats a majority in the 63-seat chamber.
